Description: Construct the Tremont Street from State Route 16 to port orchard boulevard. the project consists of constructing new widened roadways, medians, bike lanes, planting strips, sidewalks, and roundabouts along tremont street at the intersections with south kitsap boulevard and pottery avenue. this work includes storm drainage piping, structures, and vaults; new water mains, service lines, and appurtenances; sanitary sewer mains, laterals, and service connections; illumination system;a common utility trench consisting of new conduits, vaults, and junction boxes for power, communication services, and spare conduits; a conduit system for a future traffic signal at south kitsap boulevard, a new traffic signal system for potter avenue, and a signalized pedestrian crossing along tremont street; retaining walls; landscaping, irrigation, and a decorative entrance sign for the south kitsap boulevard roundabout, and the RELOCATION of existing signs and advertising structures.
ACI’s Tremont Street Widening Project received the American Public Works Association under $25 Million Project of the Year Award. Very cool and complex project that would not have been completed on time without the ACI TEAM.
